ABOUT

A lifestyle brand.
A creative world.

Julian King is a Los Angeles-based designer, music producer, model, stylist, and creative entrepreneur working across fashion, sound, culture, and live experience.

His work is driven by a simple idea: creative disciplines do not have to exist separately.

Fashion can have a soundtrack. A brand can feel like a world. A live event can become a cultural experience. A photograph can communicate an identity before a single word is spoken.

That way of thinking has shaped Julian’s work from the beginning.

He is the founder of ValleyHeart, an emerging lifestyle brand he has developed from concept to collection. Julian has shaped the identity, designed the first pieces, explored production and sourcing, directed the visual language, and created original music for campaigns. ValleyHeart has become the clearest expression of how he works—bringing fashion, sound, image, and culture together under one creative vision.

His fashion practice has developed across multiple perspectives. Through styling and creative direction, Julian learned how clothing can communicate personality and mood. Through modeling, he developed a deeper awareness of presence, movement, and how garments live on the body. His studies in pattern-making, garment construction, and design expanded that understanding further, allowing him to think not only about how clothing should look, but how it is actually made.

Music is another major part of his creative practice.

Producing since 2023, Julian has created more than 90 original tracks and beats using Ableton and FL Studio. His approach to sound mirrors the way he approaches fashion and branding: start with a feeling, build around it, refine the details, and create something with its own identity.

That instinct for building complete experiences also extends into live events.

Since age 14, Julian has produced independent events for Los Angeles high school students, managing everything from creative concepts and promotion to talent, vendors, security, budgets, and operations. Through those experiences, he became increasingly interested in how people connect through music, culture, and shared space.

More recently, he developed a concept for a phone-free live-event environment centered on a simple question: what happens when people stop documenting the experience and start fully participating in it?

Leadership has also been a consistent part of Julian’s life. At his high school, he has served as Senior Class Co-President, Head of the Black Student Union, and founder of Culture Collective. He is also a decorated varsity athlete in both basketball and soccer.

Across all of these disciplines, the medium may change, but the mindset remains the same.

Julian is interested in ideas that can become something tangible.

A garment. A track. A campaign. A brand. A room full of people.

He approaches each one with curiosity, ambition, and attention to detail.

Build the world. Obsess over the details. Make the idea real.
