Modeling

From presence
to perspective.

Modeling is just another facet of how I experience fashion and interact with clothes. I am working across so many different sides of fashion: designing clothes, directing and styling shoots, and also modeling myself. Stepping in front of the camera allows me to gain a heightened understanding of line, stance, attitude, shape, scale, and how all those things work together to create presence, and presence is key.

For me, it’s a matter of communicating an idea or a feeling, and modeling is the logical extension of my creative and design-led approach. Everything is considered, from facial expression and silhouette to location, styling, and energy in the frame. It’s a considered and holistic approach to fashion where modeling is about identity, self-expression, storytelling, and performance.
